Ascendance
It was one of those nights
When lunar wombs
Became pregnant
With the words of distant stars
And gray matter preached
Of the existence of an
Inter/Inner planetary fire
That burns
Into ashes
That I blow
Away into infinity
Causing the birth
Of a new universe
As I tap the cigarette ash
Into the ashtray
I wonder
Does this then make me God
This power over life and death
Though this life and that death
May only be my own

Your words are always beautiful and inspiring but I don’t feel that you filtered the passion inside of you the way you could. You speak of words transcending space and time, your words powerful yet asinine 😛 it feels like a contradiction. And that’s the whole point. Life is a contradiction, we are all powerful yet not at all. We are ashes and we are form. I think that you have a start and you need to dive deeper into what you are trying to convay. 🙂
