Morning

Morning

We slowly fell asleep that night
Between us, snoring loudly
Lay our doubts

Our desires lay upon the floor
Dead to the world

Awakened by heat
I found the sun
Where a woman once laid

And my doubts burned away
As yours were quietly laid to rest
