On Creation
Sometimes one must sacrifice
Their whole world, just to gain a piece
Of that otherness, the existence
That hides just outside of reach
That broken thought becomes the Word
That dead messiahs preach
That Word becomes the unheard void
That metaphysics teach
What they seek is not an object
Sacrifice the semi-logic
Chaos brings random to order
To create that crucial conflict
Without which, the design fails
Crumbles into seeming nonsense
Or explodes into something new—
Static thought turns into progress
What happens when it shatters
Do the pieces scatter in the night
Creating something not unlike
Life, just one more mistake of matter

Final Notice
I saw Death caress the neck of her
The rest of her rest in peace within the sepulcher
“Love lost love gained,” sang the messenger
The one truth is that pain is the lecturer
Fame is the death of us
Chained to the nebula
Ocean deep is he who sees through the veil of us
But never takes it off
Laid upon a bed of myrrh
Stars flowing through my veins where the final war
Will be fought upon the plains of my darkest thoughts
“Make it stop,” screamed the child as his eyes watched on
But it did not; instead it fades into the final chorus
The final song the final days the final silent opus
The final grave the final night the final hocus pocus
Alakazam this final prayer is your final notice
So take heed
